Wells Sunday Market – November 2026

Wells welcomes a special Sunday market to the city centre on 8 November 2026, giving visitors an extra opportunity to browse stalls and enjoy a day out in the heart of the city.

The market opens for browsing from 9.30am, with trading from 10am until 3pm.

Wells City Council introduced a programme of Sunday event markets during 2026, running alongside the city’s established Wednesday and Saturday markets. Expect a varied selection of independent traders, with food and drink, local produce, jewellery, gifts and other goods among the products normally represented at Wells markets.

The market’s central location makes it easy to combine a visit with Wells Cathedral, The Bishop’s Palace and Gardens, the independent shops around the Market Place and High Street, or lunch in one of the city’s cafés and restaurants.

Admission to the market is free.
